Year 4s meet a real life author!
Yesterday, our Year 4s went on a trip to meet the author of the book, ‘The House with Chicken Legs’ by Sophie Anderson. They travelled there by tram. They completed a reading trail around the city centre, found out clues and learnt facts about Sheffield and saw some of the city’s landmarks. A biscuit break in the Peace Gardens. Then, they went to the Pennine theatre to meet Sophie Anderson. She told them lots of interesting facts about how she became a writer. She shared ideas about how to write stories and they even got to ask her some questions. |
