Christmas Activities in Year 3 Aquamarine Class

This week we have been acknowledging Christmas throughout school . In Year 3, we performed our Christmas concert to our wonderful adults and had a fantastic Christmas party with music, a smoke machine, party food and games! The adults were very impressed with everyone throughout this and it made it enjoyable for everyone.

What a performance!

Every Thursday, afterschool, our children have the opportunity to attend Razzamataz. At Razzamataz, the children get to develop their drama, dance and singing skills as well as building their self-esteem and confidence. This term the children put on a wonderful performance to parents and staff around the theme of Under the Sea. It was amazing and I can’t wait to see what next term’s performance is. Well done everyone and thank you Megan and Mrs Good.

The end of a busy Autumn Term

I love Christmas time and the end of the Autumn Term. There’s always so much festive cheer! Children are so happy and excited. Working in school is great because we feel the excitement from as early as November. Our school is so festive. We don’t have snow, but we do have decorated classrooms, festive crafts and have enjoyed many festive performances where parents have come along to join in with the cheer! I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas if you are celebrating. For our families who don’t celebrate, I want to wish you a happy time with family and we all look forward to seeing you in the new year.

This term has gone by so fast. Our teachers have worked hard to make sure the learning is engaging and fun. Everyone deserves the forthcoming break. We’ve achieved so much since September. We’ve had workshops, visits booked, raised money for good causes and celebrated many themed weeks. Why not check out year group blogs to find out more. There’s lots planned in for January. Keep following the blogs to see awards and achievements as well as classroom learning.

See you all in 2024!
