End of the School Year

What a year! This year has been truly wonderful. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed seeing the children grow and learn; achieve and make progress; investigate and explore; and all the while enjoy their time here at Prince Edward Primary.

Today was our last day and children who had met all their reading targets were invited to an Ice Cream Sundae making event! We’ve handed out loads of certificates to the children who earn credits for the Children’s University.

Sports day has been a huge success and everyone took part…even the staff and some parents! We’ve also had celebrations for the children who have had 100% attendance and perfect punctuality.

Our exam results this year were the best we’ve ever achieved with 83% in Reading, 93% in Writing, 93% in Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar; and 89% in maths! Well done everyone. This was a “Team Prince” effort.

I personally want to thank all the  governors, school staff, children and families for working in partnership to provide the best possible education and life chances for our children. I feel so proud to be part of this amazing team.

Pride of Prince Edward

This week’s superstar is an absolute treat to have in the classroom! She is always quick to greet you with a smile and has been a caring, helpful  friend to everyone in the class. She demonstrates all of the qualities of a true Pride Of Prince Edward and Miss Caudwell is going to miss her positive, happy outlook on school life.  A thoroughly deserved Pride of Prince Edward.
