In Aquamarine Class last week
In English, created a conscious alley all about the character Cliff in the book Oliver and the Seawigs. The children had to think carefully and give Cliff a piece of advice. In science, the children did some research on the formation of sedimentary rocks. The children used their observing skills and research skills to find more information. In history, we are learning about the Romans. We discussed why the Romans was successful and how their army had an impact on that. The children were able to replicate the formations to protect themselves. Well done on your awards this week! |

Sapphire Class weekly round up
Another fantastic week in Sapphire class. Here are a few highlights. In music, we created our own pentatonic scales (a melody using only 5 notes). In English, we created a word bank to support us in writing our own list poems all about an island in our story. Video In science, we went on a walk around our school building, exploring what rocks are used for and how we would describe them. We looked at the difference between natural made and man made rocks. Here are our special mentions. |
